John has over forty years experience in the construction industry. For the past thirty years he has been a Florida State Certified General Contractor. Construction industry experience includes all phases from geotechnical site studies through all types of vertical construction. John has been in the Southwest Florida area for the thirty-one years and has participated in the development and building industry in many capacities, including: site work development; framing sub-contracting; Construction Inspections; Construction Project Management; General Contracting for commercial, industrial, agricultural and residential construction projects. Many of the construction projects were the recipient of awards from the Florida Association of Home Builders and the Collier County Building Industry Association.
John has many construction related certifications, including: Certified General Contractor; Certified Construction Project Manager; Certified Construction Inspector; Certified Defective Drywall Consultant; Certified Defective Drywall Remediator.
John has participated in many construction related trade association projects and activities. John is a past President of the Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA) and served on its board of directors for many years. John also is a founding member of the Collier Building Industry Foundation, the charitable arm of the CBIA. Recently, John was inducted into the Collier Building Construction Hall of Fame in its inaugural year.
